DAY 1: MARRAKECH ‑ OUARZAZATE ‑ ZAGORA

Marrakech to Erg Chigaga Morocco Sahara Desert tour will start at 07h30. Driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech. then we start our journey towards Atlas Mountains Tizi En Tichka Pass where we will stop to have some break time, coffee and stretch your legs more over we will enjoy the landscapes of the high Atlas Mountains. Lunch will be in Ouarzazate before we continue to Zagora via the Draa valley which has given life to a huge oasis & which is dotted with hundreds if not thousands of palm trees.

DAY 2: ZAGORA ‑ MHAMID ‑ ERG CHIGAGA

After breakfast in Zagora , we continue to M’hamid crossing by the village of Tamagroute where we will make a visit to the oldest Quranic libraries in Morocco, then the underground kasbah and the pottery factory. We will have Lunch in M’hamid. Early afternoon, we depart for Erg Chigaga dunes crossing different features of the desert; ‘Erg’, ‘Reg’, ‘Hammada’, oases. Erg Chigaga dunes are far away from civilization and the silence of the sand is overwhelming.
We will ride camels across the golden dunes of Chigaga and enjoy one of the most fascinating sunsets in this universe. and injoy Overnight at your luxury Sahara desert camp.

DAY 3: ERG CHIGAGA ‑ FOUM ZGUID ‑ OUARZAZATE

Waking up early in the morning, you can enjoy the sunrise in the Sahara sand dunes and have breakfast at your luxury desert camp, then start our journey through another 90km of the desert with varying scenery: first we’ll cross lake iriqui, the mountains and fossils following the old track of “Rally Paris Dakar” to Foum Zguid the first village after the desert, and where the paved road begins. After lunch, continue to the Berber village of Taznakht, famous for its Berber carpets and rugs. then continue to Ouarzazate where you will have a relaxing evning with dinner at your hotel in Ouarzazate.

DAY 4: OUARZAZATE ‑ KASBAH AIT BEN HADOU ‑ MARRAKECH

After breakfast, we can enjoy a visit Kasbah of Tourirte and the film studios situated just outside Ouarzazate, which is known as Hollywood of Africa. then we carry on exploring the world heritage site of Kasah Ait Ben Haddou, previously used as a set for lot of Hollywood films including “Gladiator” “Indiana Jones” and “Lawrence of Arabia”. We continue our desert tour back to Marrakesh via the High Atlas Mountains Tizi n’Tichka pass. We will have lunch in Ait Ben Haddou or in the Atlas Mountains on the way to Marrakech.
